Aviance
The Aviance Visual Ensemble is the multi-faceted auxiliary unit of the Golden Regiment. This highly disciplined group also performs as a competitive unit separate from the band at Regional and State Competitions. Aviance is part of the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit (FFCC) and performs during winter season which begins in January and culminates in our Circuit Championships in early April. The FFCC offers a variety of classes as a competitive outlet during winter for color guard and are judged by both local and national judges. Aviance is consistently ranked in the top few teams at all levels of evaluation.

2019 – 3rd place in AA class at state competition
2018 – 1st place in B class at state competition
State Solo & Ensemble:
2017 & 2018 – Superior & Excellent rated solo performances
2017 & 2018 – Ensemble Superior rating
FMBC State Championship:
2014 – Superior with Distinction rating (3rd place)
Kingdom of the Sun Regional:
2014 – Superior with Distinction rating (1st place in class 4A)
Southern Showcase of Champions Regional:
2014 – 1st place in class 4A
Membership
-Based on audition in March, grades, and attitude
-Members are required to take the dance class at Buchholz High School
-Attendance at summer dance camp(s) is required
-Attendance at BHS Marching Band Camp during the summer is required; please check the band calendar for upcoming dates.
Requirements
-After-school practices
-Purchase of uniform
-Payment of annual fee. Fundraising activities are provided
-Demonstrate discipline and responsibility
-Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
Conduct
-Show respect and loyalty to others in the group.
-Be polite and treat all adults with respect. Have a pleasing personality and good manners.
-Maintain dignity and class at all times. Demonstrate good sportsmanship.
-The reputation of the team is most important. Essentially, members are not to do anything that would hurt the team. Suspension from school for disciplinary reasons may result in suspension from the team.
